Lade and Dora's

Trondheim var hovedstøttepunkt for marinen med en rekke viktige hovedkvarterer for nord-atlanteren. 200 lette og tyngre flak stillinger skulle bl.a forsvare havnen og flyplassen.

There where no plans for Dora III. I know the germans wanted to start building a third Ubootbunker at Leangen but they had a hard time trying to finish Dora II and then the war ended.

The bunker on top of the Lade is an observasjon bunker for the ubootbunker and MG post. The firecontroll for the Ladehammeren FLAK battery is on top of ladehammeren, but today its under ground.

Hi
The bunker in picture no 100_9732 is correctly a observation bunker, but it was connected (by telephone) to the staff of 2. air defence division which was located in the western part of the hospital bunker inside the hill.
The bunker/cave in picture no 100_9741 and 100_9735 was the torpedo storage facility. It had a narrow-railed railway comeing out of the front gates.
The last one is probably connected to this facility, but I'm not certain.

Please see some of my pictures at the axis history forum: http://forum.axishistory.com/viewtopic. ... highlight=
