Hello,

I recieved photos from Dietl for our Atlantikwall website. But we cant figure out if Rödbergodden is the same battery as HKB 21/972 Rödberghamn, or a different battery.
Rödbergodden is aprox. 836m 346 degree north of Rödberghamn.

Can anyone help us to solve this ?

Greetings, Jack

These are two different sites, positioned only a few hundred meters apart. Rødbergodden Fort is a solely Norwegian post-WWII installation, while the German battery at Rødberghamn was abandoned after the war.

Thank you Ole,

It is clear to me now. When i take a look at the photos, the bunkers appear to be built in German style, but in a way different.
I suppose that this fort didnt play any role in the Atlantikwall.
