I drive to mid-July and wanted to Kirkenes Mestersand. How do I get there and what is there? What is still in coastal batteries to Kirkenes?

You have to rent a boat to get to Mestersand. As with most batteries in Finnmark, this was also blown up during the retreat.
Guns + all major steelconstructions were scrapped after the war, so unless you have a particular interest in this battery, there isn`t THAT much interesting to see out there.

That is true.Mostly everything is blown away or removed.
